Yellowfin Yachts 24 Bay Boats
On
February 2007 I took delivery of a 2007 Yellowfin 24
bay boat. It's the red one that was at the boat show
for those of you that were there.
Powered
by a Mercury Racing 300 XS Optimax outboard motor
this boat enough power to take 4 very large people
fishing all day long.
Able to
float in 10 - 14 inches of water effectively this
boat has all the versatility of any flats boats I
have had. In fact I feel as though with the average
customer the catch ratio on the flats is far greater
than that of my flats boats.
What's
more is that I am able to reach the shallow reefs
and wrecks for an added adventure with my anglers.
Plenty
of casting room this boat has become the favorite
for many of my regular fishing clients both spin
fishing and fly fishing.
A large
cooler up front makes for great room and plenty of
cold waters to keep the summer day heat at bay.
MotorGuide trolling motors on the bow for stealthy
maneuvering in super shallow waters.
The
wives love it as there is a private area in the Head
that has a potty in it. Not that many of my clients
use this feature, it's nice to know that it is there
for them.
Without
a doubt the Yellowfin 24 Bay Boat has become the
deadliest fish catching tool I have had to date. All
of my clients love it and I am sure you will too.
I loved
this boat soooo much, that I just ordered 2 more to
replace my other bay boats.
