Booking Reservations Policies
Charter Rates

To book a charter with me or one of my colleagues the process is very easy. Call my office. Speak to Gennifer or anyone in the office regarding your needs. If you have further questions please feel free to call my cell phone. 1-305-304-0497 after 5 pm or drop me an email. My office is the only place you can make a reservation.

The only way you can reserve a day on my boat or any boat that my office will reserve for you is by giving us a 20% deposit. This is 20% of the total trip fare amount. $ 500.00 trip fare = 100.00 deposit.

The cancellation policy is straight forward and a copy of it will be sent to you at your email address in the form of a word document for you to print, sign and fax back to my office to indicate that you understand my cancellation policy and see that the day we have you booked on is indeed correct. This is when you make it on the books.

We stand by a 7 day cancellations policy with a 24 hour full charge policy. This means that if you have to cancel inside 7 days of your charter we do keep your deposit. If you do not cancel and then don't show up for your charter, you will be billed in full for the charter and any subsequent days there after.

NOTE:  About Fuel Surcharges
 Dated   3/28/08

You will see many charters beginning to charge fuel surcharges or have a price + Fuel. As we are all aware our fuel prices are on a steady climb up. I have given it careful consideration as to weather or not or even how to make up the difference in my daily run. Figured in to my trip I always accounted for 100.00 worth of fuel or more for a trip. So, I took that 100.00 out of my trip rate and will ask my clients to pay at the pump or in their billing.

This does several things..

It can save you some money. If we don't have to run very far to do what you would like to do.

Or... It gives you as my client the opportunity to go where the fish are and not have a captain concerned about fuel and keeping it short to save money.

How Do You Know What We Use In Fuel?

The Fuel management systems in my 32 ft Center Console is state of the art and accurate to within 100th of a gallon of gas. Its Called Vessel View from Mercury Marine. My 32 Ft Yellowfin gets about 1.8 MPG average throughout the day. An average run to good bottom fishing is about 60miles round trip. Add 30 miles to that and the fishing gets even better, add another 50 miles and you can fish the Dry Tortugas with me. By doing the math you can see how your day will go in fuel costs.

The Way I Run My Boat

I dont try and set new speed records with my 32 Yellowfin. I cruise at my most comfortable speed to get good fuel economy and the best ride.
