Key West Fishing photos of my clients and some other stuff thrown in along the way. Since I have rebuilt this web site this section will continue to grow so check back often. The photos in this web site are the property of Captain Steven Lamp and Dream Catcher Charters. The use of any of these photos without Capt. Stevens permission will result in a problem that you may not wish to deal with. Go get your own....! If you would like to use any of these photos for your personal or commercial use please contact me through the email link at the top of this page and I will have the full resolution version of the shot.

Photography

Most of the stuff you will see in my key west photo section was taken by me or a client on the boat fishing with me. I generally always carry a camera to capture the moment. I also carry a video camera to film certain things from time to time. Look forward to seeing my Key West Fishing video selection as well in the coming months.

Camera

The Cameras that I have been using to capture all of the images I shoot have all been Nikons. I love the Nikons for the simple to use and long line of high end cameras. In the beginning I had the F5 shot that for a long time before i went Digital there I started off with the Nikon D100 and a 28-200 lens made by Sigma. I was on a budget and felt good to at least have the Nikon body even if I could only afford a Sigma Lens. I then moved to a D200 to get better resolution and improved imaging adding a 17 mm lens to my stable from Nikkor. Since the D 200 I have moved to the D 300 with a new lens addition of a 10 mm Wide angle Nikkor. I really enjoy shooting the wide angle lenses on my boats as they offer more of what we are doing out there. Also the dramatic depth they can reveal as well.

Chris Short - Photographer

I would like to extend this as a photo credit to Mr. Chris Short of Bass Pro Shops photography. This guru of photography has offered some of the shots he has done on our boats for us to use in our marketing. For this we say Thanks.
