Fish the Dry Tortugas with Capt Steven Lamp on board the "Intense" 32 Ft Yellowfin Yachts Center Console. One and two day trips to the Dry Tortugas for 4 or less.

The Dry Tortugas are located roughly 70 miles west of Key West. A civil war fort was built on the rocks of the Dry Tortugas called Ft Jefferson. Around the islands that make up the Dry Tortugas is some of the best coral reef and wreck fishing in the Northern Hemisphere. Bottom fishing, Live bait fishing and trolling are all great ways to fish the Dry Tortugas.

Grouper Fishing in THe Dry TortugasFishing the Dry Tortugas is an awesome adventure. The reef structures off the the Dry Tortugas in all directions are incredible. Black Grouper up to 60 lbs. Yellowtail snappers that are mostly flags. Permit on the numerous wrecks and Huge Kingfish almost year round with hoards of Blackfin Tunas on the shrimp boats

Capt. Steven is very lucky to have attained one of 11 permits handed out nationally to actually fish inside the national park boundaries offering his clients the opportunity to see what Dry Tortugas fishing is all about legally. Outside the Fort boundaries Capt. Steven also has a Gulf Federal Charter Boat Permit to fish with his clients our there as well.

Snapper fishing in the Dry tortugasThe Fuel Charge is added on your trip far when we return. I have the latest in fuel monitoring systems on my boat that measure my burn to the 100th of the gallon. We reset this before we leave. I run my boat at the most optimum cruising ranges for best fuel burn and speed. Generally one can expect to burn around 110 gallons of fuel.

Bring With You a camera (I will also have my professional camera and Digital video recorder on every trip) your favorite sunscreen some towels and I would also recommend long sleeve shirts and firm footing wear (flip flops are not so good). Polarized glasses are a plus and sunglasses are required on my boat to be worn at all times while fishing as eye protection. Walking shoes if you plan on visiting the grounds. Food and beverages that will keep you for two days (just in case).

I will bring plenty of bottled waters and Ice. I do have a toilet on my boat that is somewhat private for the ladies.
