Named the "Intuition" because we knew it would be
intuitive to get bay boats for the changing market here
in Key West for fishing charters. As bay boats improved
more it was time to start looking at them and offering
our customers a way to take more than two persons to the
shallows like a flats boat. Coupled with the
improvements of trolling motors by the leaps and bounds
that Motorguide has made the marriage was getting more
attractive to offer this sort of boat for our flats
fishing and backcountry fishing charters. Then We found
the Actioncraft Coastal Bay 2310 that had all we needed
with a fully enclosed bathroom as well. The Intuition
was born and has lived up to its name.
 The
Intuition is our fishing tractor. Mellow and steady are
the best ways to describe this boat. Powered with a 275
hp Mercury Verado 4 stroke, this boat is great for
getting close to spooky fish, offers us excellent
economy and a nice steady cruise in choppy waters. We
call this boat the Comfort Cruiser or the Cadillac. Our
more mature anglers enjoy this boat very much. Also a
great hit with families and young ones.
On the Bow we have the Motorguide SW 75 series remote
control trolling motor. A great feature for us as guides
to allow the clients front row access to the fish. 1 -4
persons is no problem to get in the shallows 12 inches
deep.
 Casting
deck is broad and easy to use. For and aft there is
plenty of room for 4 anglers to cast plugs or live bait.
For the Fly fishing person, there is a ton of room up
front with a 6 inch toe rail to offer great line
gathering on windy days. This boat is a great casting
platform for Barracuda Fishing and Tarpon fishing.
Complimented with two very large bait wells, one forward
of the console and one in the back deck you are always
guaranteed enough bait for a day of fishing.
The electronics on this boat are not slack. We went with
the very best for a bay boats needs in Chart plotters by
Garmin and a 1000 watt bottom machine from Furuno. This
boat is a tarpon finding machine with wide scan
transducers to pick up a wide track in shallow waters.
Along with that for your entertainment we also have a 4
speaker stereo system powered by Clarion and Poly Planar
with Sirius sat radio.
We designed this boat to handle many needs. Flats
Fishing, Backcountry fishing, and Shallow water wrecks
and reefs just offshore. With all those places to fish
the full day charter is very common on this boat. With
that in mind, we made sure it had a bathroom hidden in
the over sized console. Easy to get in and out.
For our fishing and snorkeling trips we have a ladder
that makes easy in and out for water access. Snorkeling
gear and instruction is provided to all who enjoy this
trip. A great way to spend the day on the waters off Key
West.
 Seating
is ample with forward and aft seating areas. With the
high sides you will feel comfortable standing and
hanging on (Subway Style) on our large console.
A large cooler is provided built into the boat for your
needs on the water. We can also provide for you extra
cooler for excess adult beverages for our fun trips.
What ever you need. Ice is always provided and so are
the bottle waters.
